3.

Inspect the tank docking ports. The docking
ports should be clear of any debris or deposits,
and the red silicone port seal should be present
and in good condition.

4.

Make sure that no instruments protrude through or above the basket and that no
instruments are pointing upwards.

CAUTION — Basket Manual Handling

If a loaded basket cannot be lifted and carried comfortably by one operator, it
should be treated as a two- person lift, and additional assistance sought.
Alternatively, the basket loading should be revised to reduce the weight of the
loaded basket.

5.

Lift the basket using both handles. Move the basket slowly and be mindful
instruments may move or fall through the basket. If any instrument starts to
protrude through the basket, they must be repositioned before attempting to place
the basket in the tank.

6.

Slowly lower the basket into the tank, keeping it
level at all times.
