Attach the da Vinci luer hose to the instrument
body ports. The luer hose should face towards
the middle of the basket.

8.

Attach the luer hose to an available basket flush
port. Push the connector of the luer hose into
the flush port until the retaining clip clicks to
hold the luer hose in position. Tug gently on the
luer hose to make sure the connection is
secure.

9.

The instrument is now loaded. Repeat the
procedure for instrument loading until up to a
total of 6 Xi instruments are loaded.

10. It is recommended to have at least one

instrument connected to each flush manifold
each corner of the basket. If processing less
than 4 instruments, attach a luer hose to any
manifolds not being used: this aids water
circulation. Put the luer hose through an
instrument support to prevent it from moving
around during a wash cycle.
