11. Attach luer hoses and stapler adapters to basket flush ports. Push hoses into ports

until retaining clips click into position. Tug each hose gently to make sure the
connection is secure. Make sure hoses are not kinked or constricted.

12. The instrument is now loaded. Repeat the

procedure for instrument loading for up to a
total of 6 Si stapler instruments.

13. It is recommended to have at least one

instrument connected to each flush manifold in
the four corners of the basket. If processing less
than 4 instruments, attach a luer hose to the
basket manifolds not being used: this aids
water circulation. Put the luer hose through the
basket support to prevent it from moving
around during the wash cycle.
