8.

Attach the luer hose to a basket flush port. Always attach the luer hose to the top-
most available flush port. Push the connector of the luer hose into the port until the
retaining clip clicks to hold hose in position. Pull lightly on the hose to make sure the
connection is secure.

9.

The instrument is now loaded. Load additional
instruments as required. Make sure instruments
are evenly distributed around basket. Do not
overload the basket.

10. It is recommended that at least one luer hose is

connected to each flush manifold in the corners
of the basket. If less than 4 cannulated
instruments are being processed, it is
recommended that a luer hoses connected to a
distal connectors are attached to any flush
manifolds not being used. This aids water
circulation and wash performance.

IMPORTANT

The weight of a basket loaded with instruments MUST NOT exceed 20 kg
(44 lb). Excess instrument load should be set aside for the next processing
cycle.
