Caution!

Never connect this appliance to the electric mains or a

generator! This would destroy the appliance and cause expiration
of warranty!

RISKS CAUSED BY HIGH VOLTAGE

-

Operation of this appliance may produce a voltage up to 600V which
may cause severe injuries or death in case of improper installation or
operation of the appliance.

-

Make sure all cables are tight, undamaged and insulated. Any loose
connections or scorched cables must be replaced immediately.

-

Make sure cables are always connected to the correct terminal.

-

Electrical connections may be carried out with closed housing cover
only.

RISKS CAUSED BY MAINS AND CHARGING
CURRENT

-

An electric shock may be lethal. In general any electric shock is
dangerous to life and limb.

-

Be sure to connect charging lines

 to correct terminal.

-

Have electrical engineer check mains cables and ensure they are in
functional order.

-

Disconnect all cables prior to opening appliance.

RISKS CAUSED BY ACCUMULATORS

-

Accumulator acid is caustic. Avoid any contact with the eyes, the skin
or the clothes. Immediately flush acid splashes with clear water and,
if necessary, consult a doctor.

-

The electrolytic gas forming during the charge is highly inflammable.
Keep ignition sources (naked light, lighted cigarette) away from the
battery. Also refrain from disconnecting the charging lines during the
charge due to the risk of sparking.

-

The charge may only be performed in properly ventilated rooms that
are intended for this use.

-

Service the battery according to the instructions given by the manu-
facturer and protect it from dirt and mechanical damage.

-

During the charge the acid level within the battery rises.

INFORMAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

-

These operating instructions must always be available at the site of
installation of the stand-alone inverter.

-

Note that also the mandatory national regulations for the prevention
of accidents and environment protection applicable in the country of
destination must be complied with in addition to the subject operating
instructions.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AT THE SITE OF
INSTALLATION

-

The appliance must be installed on a non-combustible surface.

-

Never install and operate the appliance and other electrical compon-
ents in rooms where flammable gas mixtures could develop, due to the
presence of gas cylinders, paint, lacquer, solvents, etc.

-

Protect the appliance against dirt and  humidity and keep dry.

-

Preventing cooling air from flowing may cause appliance to get too hot
and fail. Never cover vent holes or heat sink.
