Use wire cutters to cut the cable tie that secured the seatpost to the
rear wheel.
Apply a light amount of friction paste to the outside of the seatpost.
Install the seatpost into the bicycle frame while carefully pulling the
hydraulic hose from the hose port in the frame.
NOTICE
Do not damage the hose barb sleeve or Connectamijig™.

WARNING
Failure to use friction paste could allow the seatpost to slip during use,
which could lead to serious injury and/or death.
Position the seatpost at the desired ride height in the bicycle seat tube.
Tighten the seatpost collar to the frame manufacturer's recommended
torque, but
do not exceed 6.7 N

m (59 in-lb)

NOTICE
If the seatpost collar torque exceeds 6.7 N•m (59 in-lb), the seatpost
will not function properly.
Reinstall the saddle clamps and saddle onto the seatpost. Use a 4 mm
hex wrench and tighten the saddle clamp bolts to
8-10 N•m (70-89 in-lb).
Install the remote lever on the handlebar in the desired position and
use a T25 TORX® wrench to tighten the clamp bolt to
2.8-3.4 N•m (25-30 in-lb).
