Seatpost Bleed Syringe Preparation

2 0 0 H o u r S e r v i c e

S e a t p o s t B l e e d S y r i n g e P r e p a r a t i o n

Fill the second bleed syringe with 5 mL of Reverb™ hydraulic fluid.
Hold the syringe upright, cover the tip with a rag, and gently depress
the plunger to purge any air bubbles from the syringe.

NOTICE

Only use the syringes included with the RockShox® Bleed kit.

Do not use syringes that have been in contact with DOT brake fluid.

DOT brake fluid will permanently damage the seals and cause the

seatpost to malfunction.

Wrap a clean rag around the poppet valve cover. Use a T10 TORX®
wrench to remove the bleed screw from the poppet valve cover on
the seatpost and install the syringe with 5 mL of fluid into the seatpost
bleed port.

⚠

WARNING

Do not allow Reverb hydraulic fluid to come into contact with brake
levers and calipers, brake pads, disc brake rotors, or braking surfaces.
