Prerecord

” indicates that the relevant channel will prerecord for 5 seconds if it has been
triggered by motion.
Email/FTP
:

” indicates that a picture of selected channel will be sent to the pre-registered
email address and FTP if an alarm has been triggered by motion.
ESMS: “

”indicates that an SMS message will be sent to the pre-registered phone number
when a motion-detection alarm has been triggered.
5.7 PTZ
Move the cursor to “PTZ” (the icon will
be highlighted when selected) and press
“Enter” to access the PTZ settings
interface. A unique set of PTZ parameters
can be set for each channel. In this menu,
users can select values for each of the
fields by pressing the arrow buttons at
each end of the field. The changes will
take effect after clicking “
” to save
the settings and exiting the menu.
5.7.1 PTZ Channel
This is the channel that PTZ is connected to.
5.7.2 PTZ Protocol
From this field, select the PTZ device protocol. It must be consistent with the protocol of the
actual PTZ cameras installed. There are two available options: Pelco-D and Pelco-P. The
changes will take effect after clicking “
” to save the changes and exiting the menu.
5.7.3 PTZ Baud Rate
Select the PTZ device baud rate. It must be consistent with the baud rate of the actual PTZ
cameras installed. This system supports four options: 1200, 2400, 4800 and 9600. The changes
will take effect after clicking “
” to save the changes and exiting the menu.
5.7.4 PTZ Data Bit
The options for the PTZ Data Bit are “5”, “6”, “7” and “8”. The default setting is “8”.
5.7.5 PTZ Stop Bit
The PTZ Stop Bit options are “1” and “2”. The default setting is “1.”
5.7.6 PTZ Parity
The PTZ parity options are: “None”, “Odd”, “Even”, “Mark” and “Space”. The default setting
is “None.”
