11.5.1.1 - Restriction - Dialing Table - DGT Interval
- There is a possibility of 100 different number inter-
vals with Toll Restriction. Enter a number between
001 - 100 and press the F2 softkey, "Show."
If the Starting Digit String has not been pro-
grammed, the screen will display the word "Empty."
If it has been programmed, the screen will display
the starting digit. To add or change a number, press
the F3 softkey, "Chg," and enter a number up to 10
digits in length.
If the End Digit String has not been programmed,
the screen will display the word "Empty." If it has
been programmed, the screen will display the start-
ing digit. To add or change a number, press the F3
softkey, "Chg," and enter a number up to 10 digits in
length.
The following are tips for programming the Start
and End Digit Strings:
• To allow one specific number or range, the
same number must be programmed in the
both the "Start" and "End" interval field for the
associated COS. For example, to allow the dial-
ing of "800" numbers, then 1800 must be in
both interval fields.
• Toll Restriction assumes that any
number/range not entered in the Toll Restric-
tion fields is denied.
• A dialed number is allowed if the same COS is
assigned to the same number in more than one
interval.
• To allow any number, program a "don’t care"
digit. Enter Function 7#, which will display an
"x" in the programming signifying any number
is allowed.
