1.37 Speed Dialing (System)
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 4. RESOURCE - SPEED DIALING
1. EXTENSION - DAY/NIGHT COS
1. EXTENSION - SYS SPD CHECK
There are 80 system speed dialing numbers (20 - 99)
available. Each system speed dial number can store
up to 16 digits of a telephone number, including
Pause, Flash or SPD chain. Any extension is allowed
to use the system SPD number, but toll restriction
may be checked according to an extension's class of
service and Sys Spd Check setting.
1.38 Station Group Assignment
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 1. EXTENSION - EXT. GROUP
All extensions can be assigned to different station
group numbers for group call pickup. There are four
different station groups available. Group numbers
are used for paging and group call pickup.
1.39 Station Numbering Plan
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 1. EXTENSION - EXT. POSITION
The system provides a default station numbering
plan for easy call operation. Customized system con-
figurations may need their own special numbering
plan.
The default station numbering plan is from 10 to
25 for all extensions occupying the B1 channel in the
system, and ranges from 58 to 73 for all extensions
occupying the B2 channel when an analog adapter is
connected. Each station number is interchangeable
with a vacant number. When a change is made to a
vacant station number to identify the extension, the
original station number becomes vacant. The station
number range the system allows is from 10 to 81.
1.40 System Time
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - NONE
The system uses a timer IC for reference for such
functions as the system service mode change and
reminder clock functions.
N
OTES
• The system clock detects leap year (February
29), but not daylight savings time.
1.41 Toll Restriction
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 5. RESTRICTION
Toll restriction is used to prevent extensions from
making certain types of phone calls during day and
night hours. It can save on unnecessary phone
charges. Call restriction control is based on the exten-
sion Class of Service (COS) which is associated with
restriction table. For outgoing calls, if the dialing dig-
its are restricted in the restriction table, the call will
be dropped and extension user will be given a con-
gestion tone.
N
OTES
• When a line call is restricted, the outside line
will be released and a congestion tone will be
heard.
• Extension's line call will always be checked
against the interval table programmed in the
Restriction section of database programming.
• The Interval Table programming at default is
as follows:
1.42 Tone Duration Selection
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 3. CALL HANDLING - TONE TIME

office and the customer's specialized dialing require-
ments, the DTMF "ON" time of each manually or
