11.4.2 - Resource - User Names 

- To view or pro-

gram user names for active extensions on the 616
system, press the F3 softkey, "Show.”

Press the F3 softkey, "Chg,” and enter a valid

extension number. If no name has been entered, the
display will read "Empty.” Press the F3 softkey,
"Chg,” and use the dialpad to enter a seven-charac-
ter name. 

Press the " # " key to move the cursor one
space.

Use the 0 key to enter the letters Q, Z, period
and the numeral 0.

Press 0 once for Q, twice for Z, three times for a
period and four times for 0.

The letters are entered as uppercase.

Use the 1 key to enter a comma, dash, amper-
sand or the numeral 1.

Press 1 once for comma, twice for dash, three
times for ampersand and four times for 1.

Default: 

The user name is empty.

11.4.3 - Resource - Attendant 

- To designate the

extension number for the attendant, press the F3
softkey, "Chg,” and enter a valid extension number. 

Normally, all transferred calls that are unan-
swered when the Recall Timer expires recall to
the attendant.

A system must have an extension designated
as an attendant.

When the attendant is changed, the attendant
programming of Line, Receive and Ring
Assignment have to be programmed for the
new attendant.

An attendant cannot be assigned to a single
line telephone.

Default:

The attendant is extension 10.
