Note, the call forward and DND features are
mutually exclusive and cannot be enabled at the
same time.
2.19 DND Override
Extensions that have an equal to or higher COS are
allowed to override the DND function when calling
another extension where DND is enabled. This fea-
ture is available only for extensions with display key-
sets.
N
OTES
• If Voice Call Allow is enabled, this will place
handsfree call to extension in DND.
2.20 Exclusive Hold
FUNCTION HOLD
This feature permits an extension user to place an
outside line call on exclusive hold at any time. This
prevents another extension from picking up the call
until after the exclusive hold time expires. Once the
exclusive hold time expires, the call will be placed on
system hold.
N
OTES
• Lamp indications for a call on Exclusive Hold
are fast flashing green lamp at the extension
that placed the call on hold and solid lit red
lamp at all other extensions.
• Exclusive Hold is for outside line calls only.
• Exclusive Hold time is programmable from 0
to 8 minutes. Zero (0) disables Exclusive Hold.
• At default, Exclusive Hold is disabled (i.e., set
to zero).
2.21 Feature Cancellation
Extensions can cancel previously programmed fea-
tures, such as Premise Messages, Line Camp On, etc.,
by pressing the Function key, followed by an asterisk
(*) and the access code of the feature to be canceled.
N
OTES
• Features that can be cancelled using this
method are:
F*91 - Callback Delete
F*92 - Extension Alarm Clock Delete
F*93 - Camp On Busy Line Delete
F*95 - Auto Line Selection Delete
F*96 - Message Waiting Delete
F*90 - Premises Message Delete
2.22 Flash
FUNCTION 3
The FLASH key, if programmed, or its access code
can be pressed to generate a loop break duration on
the line call in order to request some features or ser-
vices which are provided by CENTREX or Central
Office carriers.
The 'loop break' time for flash is programmable.
N
OTES
• Flash code (F3) may be stored in SPD number.
2.23 Hold
HOLD
This feature permits extensions to put ICM or out-
side line calls on hold, and the held party will hear
music on hold (if equipped). An ICM call on hold
cannot be picked up by any other extension except
the extension that originally placed the ICM call on
hold.
2.24 Hold Indication
At an extension a fast green flash on a line lamp indi-
cates that a line call was placed on hold by that
extension. Meanwhile, the corresponding red line
lamp at other extensions is flashing slowly or lit,
depending on if the call is a common hold or an
exclusive hold.
2.25 Hot Dial Pad
FUNCTION #6 (TOGGLE)
When enabled, the Hot Dial pad feature allows key-
set users to dial without first accessing intercom dial
tone by lifting the handset or pressing the speaker
key.
N
OTES
• When Hot Dial Pad is disabled, the user must
press the speaker key or lift the handset before
pressing the intercom or outside line key.
2.26 ICM Voice to Ring Call
Interchange
*
When making an ICM call to another extension, the
caller can press the asterisk (*) key to change the
mode from voice page to ringing.
N
OTES
• Voice Call Allow must be enabled.
• ICM Voice to Ring Call Interchange will work
when ICM Mode is set to Ring or Page.
2.27 In Use Indication
At an extension a twinkling green signal on a line
lamp indicates that the extension is connected to a
call on that line. The other extensions' corresponding
line lamp is lit solid red.
