9.4 Resource - Category 4
This category contains various settings for the
system. Included are:
9.4.1 System Time
- permits the programming of the
day of the week, date, year, month, hour and minute.
9.4.2 User Names
- permits the programming of the
individual's names for display on keysets.
9.4.3 Attendant
- permits the Attendant extension to
be changed.
9.4.4 Alternate
- permits the programming of an
Alternate Attendant extension to be used when a call
goes unanswered at the Attendant for a specified
length of time.
9.4.5 Night Switching
- permits the manual or auto-
matic switching between Day and Night mode.
9.4.6 DB Password
- permits the database password
to be changed.
9.4.7 Premises Message
- permits the editing of the
six pre-programmed premise messages.
9.4.8 System Speed Dial
- permits the programming
of telephone numbers that are frequently dialed.
9.4.9 Line Copy
- permits programming of one line
and then copying the database parameters to other
lines with the same programming status.
9.4.10 Extension Copy
- permits programming of
one extension and then copying the database para-
meters to other extensions with the same
programming status.
9.4.11 KSU Revision
- displays the current system
software version.
9.4.12 Feature Key Copy
- permits the programming
of one extension with the required feature keys and
then copying of the feature key programming to all
extensions with the same phone type.
9.5 Restriction - Category 5
This category contains the parameters that are used
for extension and line dialing restrictions. Included
are:
9.5.1 Dialing Table
(including Digit Interval and
Extension COS) - determines the restrictions (if any)
that are placed on extensions for each COS.
9.6 Control - Category 6
This category contains programming information for
voice mail operation and the method to perform
either a Warm or Cold Start on the system. Included
are:
9.6.1 Voice Mail
(including Voice Mail Group Mem-
ber, Prefix Code, Suffix Code and Disconnect Digits)
- permits the programming of voice mail ports into a
voice mail group and the integration digits that are
sent from the KSU to the voice mail port for call han-
dling.
9.6.2 System Warm Start
- resets the system.
9.6.3 System Cold Start
- resets the system and loads
the default settings.
9.6.4 System Type
- determines whether the system
operates in MF or KF mode.
