At subsequent segment transitions, these messages will not appear on the display;
the display will only beep once to indicate the change of a segment.
When entering the interval program from another program, the following message will
appear for two seconds:
Each time the INTERVAL key is pressed, interval programs appear in the following
order:
PLATEAU
When the plateau program is selected, the time LED lights up, and the time goal
setting process begins.
Resistance levels in this time-based workout program gradually increase, level off,
then gradually decrease. The first and last segments of this workout each occupy
20% of the workout. The middle segment occupies 60% of the workout.
In the first segment, resistance increases from level one to level twelve. The middle
segment retains level twelve resistance. In the last segment, resistance drops from
level twelve to level one. The slope of the increase or decrease in resistance
depends on the goal setting.
