The shield of the digital output contacts cable must be terminated to the analyser
on one the “E” ports of the rear connector.

WARNING
The digital output terminals are separated from the analyser mains
circuits by reinforced insulation. The terminals must only be
connected to circuits that are themselves separated from mains
voltages by an isolation method that provides at least this level of
protection.
6.2.3 4-20 mA outputs
The schematic of the 4-20 mA output circuit is shown in Figure 53. Use a
shielded twisted cable to connect between the analyser and the monitoring
system, with a load resistor connected at the monitoring system. A differential
input must be used on the data acquisition system to properly monitor the data.
In case of fuse failure, refer to Table 2 and section 6.1.1.
The twisted pair must be terminated at a matched pair (+ -) of numbered output
ports and the shield must be terminated to the analyser on one of th
e “E” ports of
the rear connector.
