If either the upper or lower time range limit green box is continually
pressed, then the time rise or decrease to a value is accelerated. If the
new time to set and apply is “overshot” for the cursor position on the
slide scale indicator from an accelerated approach, then individually
step press to the precise time to set using the appropriate lower or
upper time range limit green box.
When the correct time has been reached, press the green tick box to
accept the new time value for the
Maintain or Hold Load symbol to be
set for segment ( S2 ) of the ( P4 ) program. The press reverts to the
Display Screen ( B ) environment with the new time details for the
Maintain or Hold Load function accepted for the segment ( S2 ) and
showing the full program segments sequence for ( P4 ). If the red cross
box is pressed, the new time details for the Maintain or Hold Load
function are not accepted and the press reverts to the Display Screen
( B ) environment for its original program details, but the change of
symbol will be retained. Therefore, to program and set a correct
segment ( S# ) detail for either the Maintain or Hold Load symbols and
for an associated hold time value, if the red cross box has been
pressed , it is advisable to immediately re-edit the details for the
segment in the program and use the green tick box to accept the new
segment details before continuing to any other segments (
S#’s ) that
may require editing in a program sequence.
Note: If say a time of 120 minutes (2 hours) is required to maintain or
hold a load, then two successive Maintain or Hold Load
function symbols can be placed in a program sequence and both
function steps can be set at 60 minutes each for their timing.
Additionally, if an initial delay before the start of a complete
pressing sequence is required, the first step segment (
S1 ) of a
program sequence could be a Maintain Load function with the
minimum tonnage load setting (e.g. 3 tons for the Autotouch 25T
press), at say 10 minutes. An initial “
Pump up to ” load step
becomes segment ( S2 ) and activates 10 minutes after the start
button ( 11 ) has been pressed.
