Figure 4-19 Test multimeter and the transmitters to be tested

Set the multimeter to milliamperes (mA), and then connect the 
test leads to the current input jacks.

2

Insert the battery on its side, into the negative (-) side of the 
battery holder. Connect the multimeter to the battery post (+) 
using the positive lead. Connect the negative lead to the battery 
contact of the transmitter being tested. Refer to 

Figure 4-20 

on 

page 4-38 for multimeter probe positioning.
