The remote does not work.
• There are no batteries in the remote. Install batteries (see page 24).
• The remote batteries are used up. Replace all of them with new ones,
taking care to match the polarities (see page 24).
• The remote control cable is not connected to the CONTROL S IN
connector (projector) or CONTROL S OUT (remote). Connect the
remote control cable to both the projector and remote, or disconnect
the cable.
• The front/rear remote detector is near a fluorescent lamp.

The screen projection mode
changes spontaneously.
• When a commercial comes on or a program changes, etc., the picture
may be distorted for a few seconds. This is because the projector is
selecting the most appropriate screen projection mode automatically
according to the signal input.
• The projector automatically selects the most appropriate screen
projection mode according to the aspect ratio of the input signal.
• If you select screen projection mode using the WIDE MODE button
with “Auto Wide” set to “1” or “2,” the screen projection mode
automatically changes according to the input signal. To retain the
manually selected screen projection mode using the WIDE MODE
button, set “Auto Wide” to “Off” (see page 37).

• The internal temperature is too high. Turn off the power. Check to see
that nothing is blocking the ventilation holes. Check to see if the air
filter is clogged with dust.
• Check to see whether or not the projector is tilted at an angle of more
than 20 degrees.
“Frequency is out of range!”
• The input signal cannot be projected as the frequency is out of the
acceptable range of the projector. Input a signal that is within the
acceptable frequency range.
“Please check Input-B
Signal sel.”
• Set “Input-B Signal Sel.” in the SET SETTING menu to “Computer”
when an RGB signal is input from a computer (see page 46).
“Please check DVI Signal
Sel.”
• Set “DVI Signal Sel.” in the SET SETTING menu to “Computer” when
an RGB signal is input from a computer (see page 46).
Note
• Before you change the “DVI Signal Sel.” setting, disconnect the DVI cable
and turn off the digital tuner, etc.
“Please replace the

remainins less than 50H.”
• The lamp and the air filter life is running out. Contact QUALIA
Customer Service.

• If this message is displayed when using the projector at an altitude of
less than 1,500 m, check to see if something is blocking the
ventilation holes.
“Iris unit doesn't work.”
• The optical iris is damaged. Contact QUALIA Customer Service.
