Connecting a mixing console with a channel recording
ready control (channel REC READY) function to this
connector allows you to switch the PCM-3348HR time
code channel and analog audio channels A1 and A2
between the recording enabled (REC READY) and
recording inhibited (SAFE) states from the mixing
console.
