2-6-6. Confirmation for RS-232C
Confirm the RS-232C operation that formed from
transparency type.
1. Connect RS-232C D-sub connector pins 9 (female)
connector of the terminal table to Serial D-sub pins 9
(male) connector of PC.
2. Start the terminal software (hyper terminal). (For start
setting, refer to “Setting for Hyper Terminal” that
described in afterward)
3. Click Setting of the Main Viewer screen, type the
“admin” to the user name and password box in the
confirmation screen. Check the check box that is
memorized password, then click OK button.
4. Click Serial menu, check the radio button of the
Standard to “RS232C”. Then click OK button.
5. Select the following CGI command from the address
list box on the internet explorer.

6. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: “SNC-RZ30” should be indicated on
the hyper terminal.

indicated normally on the Main View
screen.
7. After performing Step 5 and within 10 seconds, type
the optional character line (example; “SNC-RZ30”)
using the keyboard.
8. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: After 10 seconds, typed character line
(example; “SNC-RZ30”) should be
indicated on the internet explorer.

Procedure after Confirmation
1. Disconnect the AC adaptor (MPA-AC1) from DC IN
connector of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
2. Turn off the power of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
3. Close the terminal software (hyper terminal) on PC.
5. Set as follows and click OK button.
Mode:
Alarm
Alarm: Sensor1, Sensor2, Sensor3
Available period: Always
Alarm duration: 1
6. Press the three sensors in buttons in order in the
terminal table.
Specification: When press each sensor button, two
LED’s for alarms out should be lit and
then light off them after approximately
1 second.
2-6-5. Confirmation for PC Card Slot
Confirm whether PC card slot and PC card are recognized
normally or not.
1. Click Setting of the Main Viewer screen, type the
“admin” to the user name and password box in the
confirmation screen. Then click OK button.
2. Attach the Memory Stick with PC card adaptor to
upper slot (slot A).
3. After approximately 5 seconds, click System menu,
confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: ATA Card (free space: xxxxxxbyte)
should be indicated in A slot (adrv)
section of the Default URL.
4. Remove the Memory Stick with PC card adaptor from
upper slot (slot A), attach it to lower slot (slot B).
5. Wait for approximately 5 seconds, click System menu.
Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: ATA Card (free space: xxxxxxbyte)
should be indicated in B slot (bdrv)
section of the Default URL.
6. Remove the Memory Stick with PC Card adaptor from
lower slot (slot B).
