Interfacing With Peripheral 2 Devices
In a DVS-7300/7350 I/O expansion system, a number

of Peripheral 2
devices connected to the control panel can be controlled as described below.
Interfacing with Peripheral 2 devices requires an optional BKDS-7001
Control Port Extension Board to be installed in the control panel.
When the PANEL PORT ASSIGN menu setting for the DEVICE 1
(DME 3/DME 4) or DEVICE 2 (DME 5/DME 6) is “PERIPH”
One of the RECALL, LEARN, and TRIGGER commands can be sent
simultaneously to all of the Peripheral 2 devices connected to the control
panel’s REMOTE2 or REMOTE3 port, regardless of their device IDs

To send the RECALL, LEARN, or TRIGGER command to the Peripheral 2
devices, perform the following operation after turning on the appropriate
DME unit selection buttons (DME 3/DME 4, DME 5/DME 6) which are set
to “PERIPH” in the SETUP menu.
For RECALL #1 to #99: In the numeric keypad, press the RECALL button,
turning it on. Input the appropriate register number and then press the
ENTER button.
For LEARN #1 to #99: In the numeric keypad, press the LEARN button,
turning it on. Input the appropriate register number and then press the
ENTER button.
For TRIGGER #1: In the keyframe control section, press the RUN button.
For TRIGGER #0 to #15: Use the UTILITY menu (see page 14-86) to
assign P2 TRIGGER #0 to #15 to control panel buttons as commands, and
execute these assigned commands.

1) The numbers 0 to 23 are available as device IDs
of Peripheral 2 devices. A maximum of 24
Peripheral 2 devices can therfore be connected to
the control panel at a time.

2) Always all device IDs are covered. Arbitrary
selection of device IDs is not possible.
