Optical Out Selects the audio signal that is output from the DIGITAL
AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) terminal on the rear of the TV. Set
to “Auto” when equipment compatible with Dolby Digital is
connected, and set to “PCM” when noncompatible equipment
is connected.
Radio Display
Displays the screen wallpaper when you listen to a radio broadcast. You can select
the screen wallpaper colour, display a random colour or view a slide show
(page 23). To cancel the screen wallpaper display temporarily, press any button.
Parental Lock Sets a parental guidance level. Programmes that exceed the set level can only be
watched after entering the correct PIN code.

R and above To lock “Restricted” and above programmes.
No block No programmes need a password to view.

Technical Set-up Auto Service
Update Enables the TV to detect and store new digital services as
they become available.
System Update Enables the TV to automatically receive free software
updates through your existing antenna (when issued). We
recommend that you leave the setting to “On” at all times.
