Tap the on-screen "Return" key.
Password protection is activated.
Unlocking the device
If the device has been secured by password, the "Password protection" screen will be
displayed when turning on the device.
1.
In the "Password protection" screen, tap the "Unlock device" screen.
2.
Enter the password.
3.
Confirm the entry by pressing the Return key.
Deactivating password protection
1.
Open the "Configuration" screen.
2.
In the "Configuration" screen, switch to section 2.
3.
Tap the "Password protection" icon.
4.
Deactivate the "use password" option.
5.
Enter the current password.
6.
Tap the on-screen "Return" key.
Password protection is deactivated.
Resetting the password
If no password is available anymore, the device may either be:
•
reset (see "7.2 Resetting the device", page 81)or
•
unlocked by a master password.
The master password may be requested from SONOTEC GmbH. For requesting a master
password, some details are necessary for identity verification. They can be retrieved as
follows:
