1. In the "Settings" menu, select the "Fuse failure PAS" parameter.
2. Select one of the following settings:
Setting Description
Off The fuse monitor in the potential equalization set is switched off. Only use
this setting for test purposes.
Warning The “Fuse failure PAS” warning message is displayed. The Compact
Station continues to feed into the mains. The status signaling contact of
the MCU closes (factory setting).
Error The "Fuse failure PAS" fault message is displayed. The Compact Station
immediately disconnects from the mains. The status signaling contact of
the MCU closes.
DC insulation monitoring
The DC isolation monitor of the inverter checks the symmetry of the voltage of the PV
generator to the ground potential before grid connection. If the voltages (DC+ and DC- to
ground) are not symmetrical or if there is a short-circuit to ground, this will be detected
by the inverter. In MaxTalk this function is called "Vsym DC monitor".

2. Make the required setting:

Off The DC insulation monitoring is switched off..
Note: Switching off the DC insulation monitoring is only necessary when
using the equipotential bonding kit.
Warning The "Isolation fault DC" warning message is displayed. The Compact
Station continues to feed into the mains. The status signaling contact of
the MCU closes (factory setting).
Error The “Isolation fault DC” fault message is displayed. The Compact Station
disconnects immediately from the mains. The status signaling contact of
the MCU closes.
Monitoring the DC-side parasitic currents
The inverter is able to detect insulation faults between the inverter and the transformer
and too high parasitic oscillations and capacitive discharge currents on the PV generator.
1. In the "Settings" menu, select the "Vsym AC monitor" parameter.
2. Make the required setting:
Setting Description
Off The AC insulation monitoring is switched off.. Select this setting for test
purposes only.
Warning The "Isolation fault DC" warning message (MaxTalk: "DC isolation error
(AC)") is displayed. The Compact Station continues to feed into the mains.
The status signaling contact of the MCU closes (factory setting).
