NIC
Partitioning
with
SR
‐
IOV
When
combining
NIC
partitioning
with
SR
‐
IOV,
every
partition
(PF)
must
be
in
a
separate
VLAN.
The
user
is
able
to
create
a
number
of
PFs
per
physical
port
and
associate
a
number
of
VFs
with
each
PF.
Within
this
layer2
broadcast
domain
there
is
switching
between
a
PF
and
its
associated
VFs.
