D–Change the Fluid Bag

Close the clamp under empty bag.

Push the Pressure Chamber Toggle Switch to the minus (
-
)
unpressurized position to release pressure in the pressure
chambers.

Open the pressure chamber door and remove the fluid bag from
the fluid bag hanger.

Remove the spike from the empty fluid bag.
5
Hang a new fluid bag.

Spike the fluid bag. Be sure tubing is not twisted or kinked.

Close and latch Pressure Chamber doors.

Push the Pressure Chamber Toggle Switch to the plus (+)
pressurized position

Close all clamps.

Push the Pressure Chamber Toggle Switch to the minus (
-
)
unpressurized position to release pressure in the pressure chambers.

Turn the Fluid Warmer OFF.
4
Open the Pressure Chamber door and remove the fluid bag.
5
Properly discard the Disposable Set in containers marked for
biohazardous materials. Dispose by incineration, or follow hospital
policies and procedures applicable for the disposal of biohazardous
material.

Visually check the condition of the device. Remove from service any
unit that shows physical damage.
7
Clean the device with warm soapy water.
