RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System User Manual 

 

You can use the increment buttons in the Thermostat app on your Touchscreen to change 
the temperature beyond these settings. 

Adding a Thermostat to the Security System 

Use the following procedure to add a thermostat to the security system. You can have up to 
four thermostats connected to a Touchscreen at a time.  

1.  From the Settings menu, tap 

Home Devices > Thermostats > Add Thermostat

. The 

Locating Thermostat Devices screen appears. 

 

2.  Tap 

Next

. The Locating Thermostat Devices screen appears. 

3.  Tap 

Next

. Reset the device to factory default to place it in Search mode. 

–  Remove the cover at the top of the thermostat device. A circuit board appears with a 

black 

Reset 

button on the left and right sides. 

4.  Press the 

Reset

 button. The device resets to factory default. 

5.  Press the 

Menu

 button twice. 

6.  In the tap screen, press the 

Mate

 label twice (below the radio tower icon). The Mate 

label begins blinking to indicate that the device is in Search mode. When the thermostat 
device is found, an icon appears for that device.
