7. Absolute Controller Specific Product Precautions
Danger
(1) Do not disassemble the battery. There can be a short circuit inside/ outside. Over heating,
explosion or ignition of the battery can result due to the reaction of the internal chemicals of
the battery with air. Hazardous alkaline liquid will be generated.
(2) The battery contains alkaline liquid. If this liquid comes into contact with eyes, blindness can
result. Do not rub the eye. Rinse with tap water, and seek medical treatment.
Warning
(1) Do not use battery when there is leakage, discoloration, or deformation. Heating, explosion or
ignition of the battery can result.
(2) The battery contains alkaline liquid. If your clothes comes into contact with the liquid of the
battery, rinse with tap water to avoid injury to skin.
[Long term storage]
Caution
(1) Long periods of storage of the back up battery can reduce its capacity.
[Disposal]
Caution
(1) Do not dispose of used batteries. Before recycling, apply sealing tape to the connector for
insulation. Confirm local laws and regulations for recycling and recovery.
