Saving and using favorite tools
You can save pens, stamps, and tools as SMART Ink Favorites for easy access.
NOTES

SMART Ink Favorites are available only if SMART Notebook software is installed on your computer.

To use SMART Ink Favorites, start SMART Ink (see Using the SMART Ink 5 dynamic (floating) toolbar
on page 6) and connect your computer to a SMART interactive product.
Using favorite pens
If you frequently write or draw in the same color, width and style of digital ink, you can save those properties
as a favorite pen.
To add a favorite pen
1. Open SMART Ink’s dynamic (floating) toolbar in full mode (see Opening the dynamic (floating) toolbar
on page 6).
OR
Open the SMART Touch Inking Tool dynamic toolbar in full mode (see Starting the SMART Touch
Inking Tool on page 9).
2. Tap .
3. Tap , and then select Pen .
4. Select a favorite pen type.
5. Set the favorite pen’s properties.
6. Tap Add as favorite .
To edit a favorite pen
1. Open SMART Ink’s dynamic (floating) toolbar in full mode (see Opening the dynamic (floating) toolbar
on page 6).
OR
Open the SMART Touch Inking Tool dynamic toolbar in full mode (see Starting the SMART Touch
Inking Tool on page 9).
