Beam Selection
The
Beam Selection
function allows you to select the beams to be displayed in the
echogram views.

Open Window
The
Open Window
function allows you to open a dedicated window for the selected
channel view.

Tooltip
The
Tooltip
dialog box allows you to specify which tool tips (information displayed
next to the cursor) to be shown in the different views.

Setup menu
The following functions and parameters are available from the
Setup
menu.
Click once on the icon under the
Main
menu to open the
Setup
menu. Click one more
time on the icon to close the menu.

Beam Mode Adm(inistration)
The
Beam Mode Administration
dialog box allows
you to create and delete beam modes for the ME70
system. By means of the
Beam Mode
dialog box
you can also view and edit the beam modes.

Calibration
The purpose of the
Calibration
button is to start
the
Calibration
program.

BITE
The purpose of the
BITE
button is to a start and
use control a test and diagnose program that
checks the performance of the ME70

Calculation Interval
The
Calculation Interval
dialog box allows you
to define the time, number of pings, or part
of the echogram view used to perform certain
calculations. It will further calculate integration
values and build up target strength histograms.
