FMP1 Basic setting and Operating

Digital input :
The digital input parameter can be set to one of three available functions.

Set the value for the desired function.
Available values: "1" = ZERO function, "2" = PEAK function, "3" = HOLD function

Connect a switch or button to the digital input, observing the instructions for electrical
connection (

§ 5.5).
Sensor input sensitivity (force sensors or load cells):
This parameter allows the FMP1 to be adapted to force sensors or load cells with output sig-
nals from 1000 to 3000 mV.

Set the sensitivity parameter to and confirm the entry.

Set the desired full-scale value.
Value range: 1000…3000 mV.
6.5 Device calibration
Use the following procedure to adapt the device to special sensors or requirements:

Set the full scale value "FS" of the device to the nominal load of the sensors being used.
e.g.: 1 load cell rated 1000 kg ---> "FS" = 1000
2 load cells each rated 1000 kg ---> "FS" = 2000.

Set the sensitivity "SE" of the analogue input.
e.g.: Sensor output 1 mV ---> "SE" = 1.000
Sensor output 1.5 mV ---> "SE" = 1.500.

Using the tare parameter or the ZERO function, set the display reading to zero.
