4 Installation of the FMP1
The FMP1 has an installation housing for panel mounting. Use the provided clamping fittings
for installation.
Before installing, check that

the equipment is switched off and is in a safe and de-energised state.
SUITABLE TOOLS:

Use only suitable tools of the correct size.
4.1 Installation instructions
Please observe the following installation instructions:

Installation may only be performed by authorised personnel.

The installation site should have adequate lighting and be readily accessible for opera-
tors.

Ensure adequate protection against weather conditions. Observe the degree of protection
according to DIN EN 60529 (

§ 10 "Technical Data").

Observe the required panel opening dimensions of 44.5 x 91.5 mm.
4.2 Assembly

Make a suitable opening of 44.5 x 91.5 mm at
the installation location.

Slide the FMP1 into the opening from the
front.

Secure the clamping fittings in the matching
recesses on the device.

Tighten the clamping fittings from the rear to
secure the device to the panel.
CAUTION! Material damage!
The front panel may be damaged if the de-
vice is clamped too tight.

Tighten the device carefully.
