6.3 Measuring mode
After switch-on and completion of the start-up procedure, the FMP1 enters measuring mode.
The current readings from the connected sensors are displayed.
In measuring mode the switching points can be changed quickly using the control keys. The
ZERO and PEAK functions are also available according to the settings.
The ZERO or PEAK function, depending on the setting, is controlled by an external switch or
button connected to the digital input. The setting of the HOLD function can also be controlled
over the digital input.
6.3.1 Setting the switching points
In measuring mode only the value of the selected switching point can be changed. The
switching point characteristic and the hysteresis can only be set in the main menu.

Use the SET key to select the desired switching point.

The LED for the selected switching point blinks and the current value is displayed.

Adjust the new value of the switching point with the

keys.

Press the ENTER key to save the new value.

The value is saved and the next switching point is displayed, or the unit returns to
measuring mode.
Automatic return after 3 s!
After a period longer than 3 s with no keypress, the FMP1 returns to measuring mode.
The changes are not saved.
