Replacing gasket of the in-line housing
and blanking plate
Danger when removing the instrument if the sample line has not been previously
emptied.
The photometer may be removed from a line only when the line is completely empty. If this
is not the case, flooding and damage to equipment as well as bodily injury may occur.
WORKSTEP
PROCEDURE

Empty sample line.
Ensure that the sample line is empty.

Put the system into a safe
state and remove the in-
strument from the line.
Danger when removing the photometer if the
sample line has not been previously emptied:
The photometer may be removed from a line only when
the line is completely empty. If this is not the case, flood-
ing and damage to equipment as well as bodily injury
may occur.
2.1: Release lock clamp that fastens the photometer.
2.2: Remove photometer from the line and replace the
old gasket (arrow) with a new gasket.
