Project update request 

If you click: 

  Yes: Composer updates the project to the current version before opening. You 

can make modifications and download at any time. 

  No: Composer immediately opens the project in the current version 

environment, but the project is not updated.  

Note: This option is available because updates for large projects can take a 

while. You can open the project in the current version environment then update 

the project manually from within Composer to be able to download (see the 

following section). Alternatively, you can click Yes in the project update request 

dialog box the next time you open the project. 

Manually updating a project 

1.  Select 

Project > Management Station > Logical Configuration > User Data. 

2.  In the Node tab, click the Project Update button in the Advanced functions 

section.

  When Composer has finished updating your project, you will be instructed to 

close it. Re-open to realize updates.
