Activating the hardware key by manually entering the PAK 
code 

To activate the key using the PAK on the License of Use, do the following: 

  The hardware key is attached to the PC. 

1.  Launch the PAK Manager:  

Start > Programs > DMS8000 > PAK Manager. 

  The PAK Manager window displays. 

2.  In the PAK Manager, select the menu command Edit >Add new PAK.. 

  The Add PAK window displays. 

 

Manually adding a PAK 

3.  In the Available Products drop-down list, select WW8000 Composer. 

  In the Feature window, a new line displays. 

4.  Select the license line and then select Edit PAK. 
5.  Enter the PAK, 

without any dashes or spaces, in the PAK field.  

Note: For example, if the License of Use PAK is:  

TJNW-NHVX-UKS3-LIAY  

the PAK should be entered as:  

TJNWNHVXUKS3LIAY.  

Please note that the number 0 (zero) is not used. 

6.  Press Enter. 
7.  Click Save. 

  The imported license appears in the Available Licenses list. 

8.  Verify that the Valid with version number field reads 

Yes.
