4.4.2 Installation of VGA Driver
NOTE:
ATI often changes the wording in their installation
procedures. Therefore, there may be slight
differences between the text in the following
procedure and the actual wording on screen.
1.
Insert ATI CD into CD drive and let auto run program to
start. (CD type is according to the adapter installed in
your system).
2.
Select “Exit Install” from “Welcome” screen.
3.
On the open screen of the system right click the mouse.
4.
Select “Properties” from the menu.
5.
From the menu select: Setting, Display, Type, and
Change.
6.
Select “Have disk” “Browse” The CD drive (normally
on “F”), click “WinNT”, and click ATI DRIVE.
7.
Select “Open” then “OK."
8.
From the list select: “3D rage pro turbo (English) then
OK.
9.
Press “Yes”, Software will load to disk.
10.
Press “OK”, “Close, “test”, “OK”, ”Yes”,”Close”, and
“Yes” to restart the system.
11.
Select “OK."
12.
13. Make sure Color Palette is 256 Colors and desktop
area is 640X480 pixels.

Select OK and remove CD.
4.4.3 Installation of Printer Driver
1.
Insert printer software driver CD into the CD drive ,and
wait for the “Auto run program to start.
2.
Select “Install software”
3.
Select “Printer software”
4.
Click on CD picture.
5.
Select “Agree”.
6.
Select “Custom install” radio button and click “Next”.
7.
Select “Local Computer”, and click “next”
8.
Select “Printer drivers” and click “Next”.
