4. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

AND UPGRADE

NOTE:

System upgrades will be provided as kits with all the
necessary material.
The System Software is installed at the factory.

The System will be supplied with the following CD’s – Windows NT 4,
WinNT Service Pack 4, Iomega Tools For ZIP drive, Lexmark software For
Printer, ATI software for display adapter, Application & Service CD and
one CD with all the necessary software required to operate the system
(including TS2000 system software).

4.1 Verifying the Actual Software Version

From the Welcome Screen, start a new exam.

1.

Click on “Maintenance”/ “Version”; the TransScan Windows
Application Box appears.

2.

Verify the following data:

a. Version

b. Database Version

c. PM Version

3.

After verification, click OK.

4.2 Full Software Installations

Complete installation of the software is carried out at the factory. If an
unrecoverable problem occurs with the software, or if a hard disk
needs to be replaced, a complete reinstallation of the software has to
be performed.
