• Pull the 3RW5 HMI Standard far enough out of the 3RW51 soft starter 

①

 to gain access to the 

HMI connecting cable.

• Unfasten the retaining elements of the HMI connecting cable 

②

 and pull the HMI connecting 

cable out of the 3RW51 soft starter 

③

.

Result

You have removed the 3RW5 HMI Standard. You can install the 3RW5 HMI Standard on a surface 
(Page 49) or in a cabinet door (Page 41) or you can install a new 3RW5 HMI Standard 
(Page 37).
