Connect the gas lines to the corresponding inlets/outlets.

Introduction of toxic, aggressive or flammable gases
When toxic, aggressive or flammable gases are introduced, carry out a leak test for these
pipe connections.
You can find additional information in the section →Checking the sample gas path for leaks
(Page 74).

Pipes
Connect the pipes to the gas connections. Use appropriate clamping rings with union nuts for
a pipe diameter of 6 mm.
The material of the parts in contact with the gas (threaded joints and clamping rings) must be
appropriate to the application (stainless steel or Hastelloy).

Connect the end of the field module cable to the terminal block of the field control unit. The
preassembled cable on the field module is fanned out in the delivered condition and provided
with end sleeves. The cable length is 7 meters.
The core assignments and the associated connection numbers of the terminal block are shown
in the following table. You can find the terminal block layout in the section → Field control unit
(Page 57).
