Referencing mode "Referencing cam and encoder zero mark"
Operational sequence
The axis searches in the specified direction for the reference point. Once the reference cam
signal is reached, the axis velocity changes from the reference point approach velocity to the
reference point creep velocity. Once the reference cam has been left, the axis is referenced
at the next zero mark of the encoder that is detected.
Hardware configuration
The reference cam is connected to a free SIMATIC input (either at an input integrated in the
Technology-CPU or at distributed input at DP(DRIVE)).

If "Reference cam and encoder zero mark" is selected as referencing mode (the following
two diagrams), then the evaluation position of the zero mark can be selected using Encoder
zero mark and the approach direction can be selected via Search for reference direction.
