For TAP: The setting must be made in agreement with the stan-
dard of the SMS receiver and the extra information attached to the
phone number of the selected TAP SMS telephone provider. The
OCI600 limits the maximum number of characters to 80 however.
So, with an SMS receiver using 160 characters and the information
“00491712092522, 8N1, 160“ delivered by your provider, the setting
required is “Alphanumeric pager, 80 characters (8N1)“
Note: When making parameter settings (device names, plant
name, alarm text, etc.) use only permitted characters, too:
