1.4 Functions

The OCI600 central communication unit:

•

Facilitates direct access to LPB controllers with the help

of an operator station (PC) connected either directly or

via modem and on which the ACS7.. software is in-

stalled

•

Monitors all connected devices / modules and its own

inputs and outputs

•

Signals faults to a PC either directly or via modem

•

Signals faults via modem to SMS receivers, fax ma-

chines, pagers, serial printers and Minitel (France only)
