IMPORTANT!
Only trained personnel are permitted to configure the driver assistance system.
Disconnect the mouse and keyboard once configuration is complete.
8.2.1
Important information
The driver assistance system can only be configured with the system fully connected
and the vehicle at standstill.
Pre-configuration is only possible if the installation height and angle have been pre
-
cisely defined in advance and the sensor head has been mounted as described in
these instructions.
If these steps are not followed correctly detection errors may occur, thereby creating
hazards while the driver assistance system is in use.
A USB keyboard and mouse (e.g., a wireless USB kit) are required to configure the
system.
Both sensor heads have to be configured for each of kits B and C. The configuration
process is largely identical to that for kit A. Your attention is drawn to any specific diffe

rences.
