Safety

WARNING!

Operating the driver assistance system outside the specifications (e.g., temperature, air 

humidity) can damage the driver assistance system or the vehicle's electrical system.

The driver assistance system must be operated only within the specified technical 

boundary conditions 

(see page  95)

Connecting the evaluation unit

DANGER!

Risk of collision due to incorrect configuration.

Incorrect system configuration carried out by unqualified personnel can result in collisi

-

ons occurring without prior warning.

 

•

Only a fitter should connect a keyboard and mouse.

 

•

The USB devices must be unplugged once the configuration has been completed.

1.  Remove the cover cap from the USB port on the evaluation unit (1).
2.  Connect the dongle from a wireless USB kit to the USB port.

IMPORTANT!

Only one USB port is available on the evaluation unit. The mouse and keyboard must, 

therefore, be connected via the same USB port.
A wireless USB kit is suitable for this purpose.

For kit C, use the USB port on whichever evaluation unit is being configured. It is not 

possible to configure both evaluation units at once.
