MOUNTING

IMPORTANT!

Include provision for additional lengths of cable that will be required for mobile driver's 

cabs. For these applications, the cables must be laid “coiled” like a snake.

5.5.2 

Preparing for mounting

IMPORTANT!

When mounting kit B and kit C, remember that sufficient space is required for mounting 

additional components.

1.  Select the mounting locations (1, 2, 3) as appropriate for the required detection 

zone and the nature of the vehicle.

2.  Use a mounting bracket and support that are capable of bearing the weight of the 

sensor head.

IMPORTANT!

The support must be able to bear the weight of the sensor head 

(see page  95)

 

under real conditions. 

3. 

Mount the prepared support on the vehicle as per your specific requirements (3).

4.  Prepare the mounting location for the evaluation unit (2) inside the driver's cab by 

drilling holes for the brackets and laying cable channels for the supply lines.

5.  Install the bracket for the display inside the driver's cab (1).
