6.1 Status

The main status information is relevant to the HIPERFACE DSL

®

link. A quick report is provided

by the arrow icon shown at the right-

hand side of the “Status Bar”. Please refer to the

description of the Status Tab for further details (chapter 4.4).

6.2 Tabs

At the top of the workspace tabs are displayed. Each is related to a specific function and can be
pushed to activate or deactivate the function itself.

6.2.1 Encoder Resources

This function allows the user to examine the list of resources implemented in the emulated
HIPERFACE DSL

®

Encoder.

For further details on the available resources and their function please refer to the HIPERFACE
DSL

®

Manual.

The related workspace layout is shown below:

6.2.2 Encoder Emulation

The emulated HIPERFACE DSL

®

Encoder includes a “position generator” running at constant

speed. Besides, specific error codes can be generated on demand.
