4.3.2 Operating Mode
The operating mode of the PGT-09-S determines the basic function of the tool in a DSL
connection (Master, Slave, or Analyzer).
The operating mode is selectable through the push-button placed near the bottom-left corner.
The active mode is shown as the button caption:
By pushing this button the list of operating modes is shown. Select and click a mode to make it
active. The selected mode is kept after power-down.
4.3.3 Access Profile
The access profile of the PGT-09-S determines which functions the user has access to.
The access profile is selectable through the push-button placed near the bottom-right corner.
The active profile is shown as the button caption:
By pushing this button the list of operating modes is shown. Select and click a mode to make it
active.
For any access profile except “User”, a password is required. The password is entered after
pushing the START button.
If so required, a window will request the password for the indicated access profile:
