Loosen the clamping screws of the cables for the heating cartridges.

Remove the heating cartridge cable from the cable conduit.

Insert new heating cartridges:

Insert heating cartridges in pairs (one long and one short each).
▸
Pairs each have adjacent slots.

Refit the remaining heating garlands (PT100, thermostatic switch and ground):

Screw the thermostatic switch tight.
▸
Tighten the ground.

Connect the heating cartridges with the heating garlands:

Guide the cables of the new heating cartridges in pairs through the cable conduit to
the plug.

Fasten the cables of the new heating cartridges with clamping screws in the contact
plugs according to the circuit diagram (
see Fig. 194 “Wiring diagram, heating car-
tridges, sender/receiver unit”, page 124
).

Shorten the cables to the appropriate length.

Fasten the fastening clip in the contact plug.

Close the contact plug.

Screw the fastening clip of the cable conduit tight.

Fix the grub screws on the rear side.

Attach the sheet metal covers and fit the sender/receiver unit (
complete sender/receiver unit”, page 98
).

Fit the cell (
see Chapter “Fitting the complete cell”, page 18

Connect the MCS200HW power supply.

The cable leads are numbered consecutively. Note the assignment of the clamping
screws for reconnection. E.g. with a photo or use the circuit diagram.
