The detection area of the sensor head depends on the following:

How far away it is from a flat boundary surface (such as the ground, a ceiling, a
wall, etc.).
•
The installation angle in relation to the ground.
•
The environmental conditions.
According to the specifications, the maximum detection distance is 6 m. This value may
vary or be physically restricted by environmental influences or mounting parameters.

According to the specifications, the maximum definable alarm area is 4 x 6 meters (∆x
x ∆y, 3D projection on ground). Although larger values can be set, they will result in less
reliable detection.
